Columbus Playgroup is a gateway centre, focusing on learning and socialization with exceptional and intentional programming, supporting children's learning and developmental needs now and for years to come.

F. A. Q.

1. Children may start at any point through the year when a vacancy exists. Call the classroom phone for a prompt response, to inquire about openings.
2. Children need not be toilet-trained. No additional fees for toilet training. Toilet training is supported by Columbus Playgroup teachers.
3. Class sizes never exceed 16 children, with two RECEs attending.
4. Columbus Playgroup maintains wait-lists for children, when classes are full or when a child does not meet the age requirement for the class. (at no charge). The wait list operates on a first-come/ first-served basis, with attention to noting when/ if the child meets the age requirement.
5. Columbus Playgroup supports a nut-free environment. Notify teachers of any allergies, restrictions or food avoidances prior to starting at CCPC.
6. Columbus Playgroup is a fully inclusive Early Learning Centre, welcoming
all to our centre, as openings exist. We accept a limited number
of children with special needs, speech delays, ASD, etc. however, all
exceptional needs must be declared at inquiry and registration in order to
place children in the spot of best-fit, with well-being considerations for all.
6. To register at CCPC; -download the registration pkg. from the website
- complete the package. Every field must be answered.
- call the classroom to ensure there is an opening if mid year.
- payments are e-transferred on the 15th. of each month prior to
attending as quoted on the registration package, a month ahead, - starting mid year, members may need to pay Administration fee as
well as first month fees together before starting to attend.
- fees are charged for full months or half months if starting after the
  15th of the month. Fees are not pro-rated or reimbursed for missed
  days, holidays, vacations, illness or early withdrawl.
7. Immunizations must be up to date to attend, in compliance with Health Dept. regulations.)
    - include 2 photocopies of the child's immunization records with
   registration pkg. prior to attending
8.  To Withdraw
- submit your intent to withdraw in writing, with 32 days notice to the Registrar or the Supervisor. No penalty is applied.
- Reimbursement is not made when a family withdrawls.
Columbus Community Playgroup does not accept non-immunized children.
